About Me

Botanical loving, tea -drinking floral creator.

Hello, I’m Stacey. A garden-inspired floral creator, writer and educator.

Having spent most of my previous career indoors whilst working as a dance teacher, it's not a surprise that I started to crave more of the natural world. I've always been a huge lover of gardens so to say that I love flowers and nature is a huge understatement. I am intrigued by them and always curious about how both can create such beauty plus have such a positive impact on us.

I'm not a traditional florist but rather a floral creator that loves to experiment and explore. I want to create work that engages and inspires people to embrace seasonality and natural beauty. My passion for creativity and wellbeing form a huge part of my work and I hope to encourage people to engage in their own wellbeing through floral creativity and find a joy for the natural world.

WORK WITH ME

My Values

1// Sustainability - This is at the heart of all of my work. Everything I create is made sustainably and as natural as possible. I use no floral foam and no single use materials. I also use British flowers and source from as local to me, or a venue, as possible.

2// Seasonal - All of my work is inspired by and reflects the seasons. I encourage clients to love the seasonality we have here and love showing how to use that. I source from local growers, forage for wild beauty and design led by what is growing and blossoming. My designs will reflect what beauty we have at a particular time in the year - including dried and everlasting flowers through the winter.

3// Wellbeing & Mental Health - As someone who knows first hand the positive impact that flowers, gardens and nature can have, I am an advocate for encouraging wellbeing in all that I do. My aim to to create a safe space for people to explore and create. My workshops will all encompass a sense of wellbeing and I hope to provide regular sessions where we can join together and talk through flowers.

At Stacey Hartley Florals, I also aim to work closely with charities that share our ethos. I want to support as many people as possible through the joy of flowers
