Atmospheric Wedding at The Royal Exchange Theatre

I was asked to curate and style this shoot for The Royal Exchange event team as they were keen to showcase their incredible venue as an amazing, unique place to get married in the City Centre. I was more than happy to gather my team and get on board!

The idea of the shoot was less about a themed styled shoot but to create something that showed off all the features of the venue. The grand, luxurious feel of the old features from it’s days as a stock exchange, alongside the incredible Theatre itself. There are two contrasting vibes that run through the theatre space and the architecture matches this. From the older wooden panels and almost Grecian style pillars, to the modern structure of the theatre stairways to the lit up entrance way. It was something we really wanted to play around with. The venue has so much to offer and is such a hidden gem amongst a bustling city centre and we really wanted to show it in its glory.

Making it feel unique, personal and adaptable was something the venue wanted to show from their angle. Showing potential couples the spaces they can use and giving a glimpse into how these can be styled for different aspects of a wedding.
